Naperville LED architectural and landscape lighting project 60540
Aluminight Custom Outdoor Lighting completed a comprehensive architectural and landscape LED lighting design and installation in a Naperville IL 60540 neighborhood in DuPage County. Our objective was to reuse high quality existing fixtures by relocating them to the backyard while outfitting the front of the home with new low voltage premium grade LED fixtures. We implemented waterproof in ground connections and integrated LED modules for long term reliability, efficiency, and clean aesthetics, all precisely zoned for flexible evening scenes.
Front architectural lighting design and installation Naperville IL
To showcase the home’s facade and textures, our team installed 27 premium integrated LED spot lights for targeted uplighting across columns, peaks, and stonework. We added 4 soffit lights to create a soft, even wash under eaves, plus 1 down light and 1 large down light to accent entries and vertical lines without glare. All fixtures are low voltage and built for durability through Midwest seasons.
Front landscape lighting design Naperville IL 60540
For layered depth at the front of the property, we integrated 4 wash lights to gently illuminate three featured bushes, 13 path lights to guide guests along walkways, and 4 additional path lights planned for the island bed. Four spot lights were aimed at four signature trees to balance height and shadow play while preserving dark sky principles.
Backyard architectural lighting reinstallation Naperville IL
We removed select existing architectural fixtures from both front and back and reinstalled them in optimized backyard locations. The reimagined layout includes 5 spot lights to define structure and textures around the rear elevation, along with 2 premium integrated soffit lights and 1 premium integrated down light to provide elegant, controlled illumination for outdoor living zones.
Backyard landscape lighting improvements Naperville 60540
To enhance safety and ambiance, we relocated and reused 14 path lights around the house with 11 positioned per the plan and three additional units available for supplemental coverage. We focused 6 spot lights on two prominent bushes for dimensional greenery at night and applied 8 spot lights to eight trees for balanced vertical accents. Three existing ledge lights remained unchanged to preserve warm perimeter glow.
Tiki lights and new fixtures Naperville IL
We introduced 4 premium integrated tiki lights to add festive yet refined illumination around entertaining areas. These fixtures deliver warm, even light and blend seamlessly with the overall design language, elevating the outdoor experience without visual clutter.
Tree downlighting for backyard canopy Naperville IL
Six large premium integrated down lights were mounted within select trees to produce moonlighting that softly washes patios, lawn, and pathways. This technique reduces glare, improves night visibility, and creates a natural, dappled effect that feels inviting and tranquil.
Lighting transformers zones and smart control Naperville
The system is powered by three smart transformers configured with two zones each for tailored control across architectural and landscape layers. An additional smart transformer with two zones supports the grill and island lighting. We saved the existing transformers for future use on the front berm and fence lights as a dedicated zone two, ensuring expandability without redundancy.
Grill and island LED strip lighting Naperville
We installed durable outdoor rated LED strip lights along the blue highlighted areas of the grill and island to provide functional task lighting and subtle accent glow. The strips are tuned to deliver even illumination for prep surfaces while maintaining a cohesive look with nearby path and downlighting.
Materials waterproof in ground connections Naperville project
Every connection was executed with waterproof in ground methods and corrosion resistant components to protect against moisture and freeze thaw cycles. All wiring, premium mounts, junctions, and accessories were included to meet professional installation standards and to ensure long term reliability with minimal maintenance.
